Mum's the word

Well spring is putting a step into my heels and my hat is currently set at a jaunty angle and it’s with this buoyant mood that i descended upon London town this week to visit a mate and watch a gig with the lovely Lady Mckee to celebrate our 20th year of marriage.

It was quite odd not to go to london with a painting under my arm or a meeting to attend but i was under strict orders from the Duchess not to mix business with pleasure. though i sneakily spent more time than i should have in a bookshop buying research material for my next exhibition.

Scarborough is coming to our gallery from this weekend as we display choice paintings from my most recent exhibition, which were on display in my favorite seaside town, these include the six views of Scarborough as well as other gems.

It’s not escaped my attention that it’s Mothers day on Sunday and i shall be making sure Mrs Mckee gets a cup of tea in bed while the lads run off to the news agents to get a card and then she’ll come down stairs to the smell of burning food as i attempt to cook Sunday dinner, then we’ll scrape it in the bin and run off to get something proper to eat.

In other news there are only 8 copies of the 22 views book left at the gallery and there are no plans for a re print so if you fancy a copy best get down to the gallery sharpish.
