Mr Hawley Visits the Gallery

Well we swap the cartoon characters for a real character this week and devote our gallery to the wonderful Richard Hawley, who has to be a true Sheffield icon. Not only has he got the look and the talent but he’s also got a million and one stories that have gone down in folk law history. All the images are taken by the incredibly talented Chris Saunders, who has followed Richard’s career for over 10 years now. Chris is an internationally renown photographer who happens to be from Sheffield and is one I admire tremendously. He has even taken album shots for my ukulele band.

My latest exhibition ‘GREAT MOMENTS IN POPULAR MUSIC’ is now over but I have selected some of my favourite images from the show and made them available as prints via the web store and from our gallery in Sheffield.
