64 Beats

With 64 beats i've taken the narrative of a previous painting and continued the story, this is the first time i've done this in any of my work. In 'Booty and the beat' the lad is polishing his Chelsea boots ready for a night out and in '64 beats' he's quickly got bored of that idea and decided to pick up his guitar and have a strum, no doubt this will make him late for his date, but lads don't possess a sense of time.
I've also included a few cryptic items in the painting, which is something i like to do from time to time, can you spot some deliberate placements and the reason they are in there? (it's not too difficult) A foot note to the two paintings is that i'm a fan of American artist Norman Rockwell and a couple of Christmases ago i was given a book featuring his photographic study, pieces to help him with his figurative work and composition, i used this technique for both Booty and 64 Beats.
My lad Charley was the model and my Hofner President is the guitar. this again is the only time i've done this as i always use my minds eye to draw figures.
